Crafters unite in Tara this weekend for the 28th annual Tara Festival of Crafts.
The very popular event runs today from 1 PM to 9 PM and then again tomorrow from 10 AM to 5 PM..
The festival is taking place at the Tara Arran Community Centre.
Festival Chair Anne Marie Richards says they keep the festival fresh by adding new vendors every year.
She says the community rallies around the festival as all the proceeds from the admission gates feeds back into community efforts.
Richards says there are church groups that will be running food booths at the event.
This year – Richards says the group has put money towards area picnic shelters.
Richards adds many people consider this to be the best craft show in the area.
She says there are over 170 exhibitors and the show is always busy.
Admission is 3-dollars and children under 12 are admitted for a loonie.
