Huron Bruce has been named the second most patriotic riding in Canada.
Earlier this summer, Huron Bruce MP Ben Lobb launched a “Proud to be Canadian Campaign” in the riding, asking residents to display a supplied Canadian Flag on Canada Day.
Lobb says residents were asked to return a ballot as well, indicating that they had their flags on display.
He says they received just under 33-hundred replies, which was a close second to constituents in Stormont, Dundas and South Glengarry, in Eastern Ontario.
Lobb says he plans to run a similar program next year as well after the fantastic results this year.
