It has been more than a month — but residents near Irish Lake can use their water again.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit has lifted the Do Not Use water order for residents who use water directly from the lake in Grey Highlands and West Grey.
The advisory was first issued September 2nd after officials found blue green algae in the lake.
Staff from the Ministry of Environment have continually tested the lake water and the latest results show the toxin levels are now at an acceptable level.
