A windy Wednesday caused some trouble in Kincardine.
The Fire Department received a call between 9:30 AM and 10 AM yesterday about a tree falling on a hydro wire on the North Line, just east of town.
Fire Chief Jamie MacKinnon says firefighters were on the scene for two to three hours while they waited for Hydro One to arrive and take the tree off the line.
MacKinnon says there was some arcing, smoke, and a minor fire but nothing serious.
He says fire crews remained at the scene to ensure public safety.
The incident caused no injuries.
The high winds also knocked out electricity in Goderich and parts of Huron County as well as Lambton County.
