It’s not too late to take in a fall fair.
The 148th annual Tiverton fall fair is being held today and tomorrow at the village fairgrounds near the watertower.
Tiverton Agricultural Society President Doreen Soloduka says the events start Friday night with entertainment with the Tiverton Idle contestants from the Tiverton Reunion performing.
There will also be the blue water sanitation prince and princess competition for kindergarten kids – and the midway will be open as well.
Soloduka also says an auction of the award winning pies and cakes is always popular on Friday night.
Saturday will have all the pancake breakfast, the home craft exhibits, the midway, the poultry competition, kids pony rides and games.
Saturday also has a classic antique car, motorcycle and truck show and shine.
Soloduka says this fair is strong with community involvement and spirit and has something for everyone.
Admission is 3 dollars.
