A cancer fundraiser for the ladies this weekend in Owen Sound.
Its the second annual Pink Pearls and Parfaits being hosted this Sunday by the Bluewater Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society.
Women will be able to sign up for a full afternoon of various sessions — ranging from makeovers to scrapbooking to financial planning.
Fundraising Coordinator Jenn Wright says its a good opportunity for busy moms and business women to take a break and help raise money for a great cause.
Aside from a fashion show and silent auction — local firefighters will be some of the few men let through the doors for the occasion.
Local Mary Kay Cosmetics Executive Director Sharon Coburn will also be speaking about her personal struggle with cancer.
Tickets are 2 for 55 dollars and can be purchased at the Cancer Society office on 8th Street East, Investors Group and the Spa West 9th Street.
