There is a public meeting tonight if you want to learn more about the biodigestor project.
Georgian Bluffs and Chatsworth have partnered to develop the waste disposal system that handles septage, sludge and agricultural products.
The meeting begins at 7 PM at the Keady Community Centre.
The consultant for the project, Genivar, will make a short presentation — then residents will be able to ask questions.
The two municipalities are receiving two-thirds funding for the 2.5-million dollar project from the Canada Builds infrastructure program.
They’ll share the rest of the 850 thousand dollar price tag.
The biodigester will be built southeast of Kilsyth, near the boundary of the municipalities.
