Not a lot of details emerging from the surprising dismissal of the CAO in South Bruce Peninsula.
Malcolm McIntosh was relieved of his duties without cause immediately following a special meeting of Council yesterday morning.
Mayor Gwen Gilbert tells Bayshore Broadcasting News Council will discuss how to move ahead at next Tuesday’s Committee of the Whole meeting.
But Gilbert says she can not say anything about McIntosh’s dismissal at this time.
Gilbert adds it will be business as usual as Clerk Rhonda Cook has been appointed Acting CAO for the time being.
McIntosh left as West Grey CAO and moved to South Bruce Peninsula in 2006.
