Arrests have been made in connection with a break enter and theft at McDonalds Restaurant in Meaford last month.
Grey County OPP say they arrested three Meaford men on Wednesday.
It was back on the 16th of September that sometime between 1 and 5 in the morning, the three allegedly removed a safe, a computer hard drive, and an undisclosed quantity of cash from the restaurant.
They also allegedly took gift certificates, coupons and pre-loaded cards.
The safe and some of the stolen property were recovered last night after officers armed with a search warrant conducted a search at a Meaford residence.
Fifty-Eight year old Thomas Emerson, faces charges of Break, Enter and Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offence of Possession of Marihuana.
Thirty year old Texas Thompson is charged with Break, Enter and Theft and Possession of Stolen Property.
A 17 year old – who can’t be named because of his age faces charges of Break, Enter and Theft, Possession of Stolen Property and with Failing to Comply with a Youth Criminal Justice Act sentence.
All three were held in custody pending bail hearings today.
