A special church service is taking place in Southampton today.
St. Andrews Presbyterian Church is celebrating its 158th anniversary.
John Lawson will be the guest minister for services beginning at 10:30 AM.
Lawson is currently working to set up a new congregation in Guelph, and spent his high school years in Southampton during his father’s ministry at St. Andrews.
The church invites residents across the region to attend, as it honours the many generations of the ministry.
A luncheon follows the service.
