There is more provincial money for trails on the Bruce Peninsula.
The Central Peninsula Snow Drifters Snowmobile Trail project has received 15 thousand dollars from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
That is on top of the 30 thousand dollar grant the club received last year.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch says the funding will help the trail system offer four seasons of entertainment.
The club will use this year’s funds to help put gravel on the trail from Ira Lake to Highway 6 and complete the five kilometre trail in the north end of Stokes Bay.
The Snow-Drifters report they have noticed an increase of hikers, bikers and horse riders on the newly constructed trails.
