Police say a 29 year old Wasaga Beach man was been hit and killed by a large truck near Barrie.
Police say the man stepped out in front of the truck for an unknown reason.
Officers shut down Bayfield Street North between Snow Valley Road and the Highway 26 exchange for most of Friday afternoon.
The man’s name is not being released until his family is notified.
Police are continuing their investigation.
