Two McDonald’s employees — one from Goderich and one from Kincardine — are headed to the 2010 Winter Olympics in BC.
Valerie Mcleod from Goderich and Heather Murray from Kincardine were chosen to work at McDonald’s venues during the games.
This year all McDonald’s restaurants across Canada took part in a competition that ranked them on costumer service as well as who could sell the most extra value meals.
The Goderich and Kincardine restaurant’s were two of 54 locations across the country to make the list, so they got to pick one employee to send.
So, Mcleod and Murray will join a select few who will serve the world’s athletes Mcdonald’s during the games.
Mcleod says they are allowed to take in one main venue at the games — so her fingers are crossed that it will be a Canadian Hockey game.
