The Municipality of Kincardine is saying thank you.
A reception is being held for all people who volunteer on municipal committees from 1 PM to 4 PM today at the Kincardine Pavilion.
Mayor Larry Kraemer says they have a number of volunteers from all over the community who work hard to make Kincardine the wonderful community it is.
He says council uses the event to show appreciation for those who continuously give their time.
Kraemer says the volunteers cut across so many segments of community life.
He adds examples are the private citizens who sit on the planning, public works, heritage, and arts committees.
