Not many band aids issued at Bruce Power in Tiverton these days.
Employees and contract workers with AMEC NCL recently passed the 2 million hours worked mark, without a loss time injury report on the Bruce A Restart Project.
In a release, Director Bill Bacon said they are pleased to reach this milestone and commends all involved.
The project is one of the largest and most challenging engineering projects taking place in North America.
Once restarted – Units 1 and 2 will return another 15 hundred mega watts of clean electricity to the Ontario market, for a total output from the Bruce site to more than 62 hundred megawatts.
