The Senior A hockey season is just about to get underway — and the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks will have a rink to call home for at least the next three years.
A new lease agreement between the club and the Town of Saugeen Shores has been reached.
The town will collect 124 dollars per hour for games and practices at The Plex, along with 28 dollars per hour whenever Rotary Hall is used for a cash bar.
The hockey club is also responsible for any extra staffing and post-game cleanup.
The Winterhawks played most of their games at The Plex this past season, but some playoff games had to be held at the Southampton Coliseum.
