Grey County OPP are helping the Coroner’s office, in connection with the death of an Owen Sound man.
The 49 year old man was found dead Thursday morning not far from the Wiarton airport in Georgian Bluffs.
Grey County OPP Constable Steve Starr says a post mortem will be done Friday on the victim.
Police were called at about 8 AM Thursday after the man was found without vital signs by a friend at the base of an elevated structure on a rural property on Concession 21 of Georgian Bluffs.
Starr says the incident occurred at the site of a dwelling that is currently under construction, and because of that the Ministry of Labour was notified.
The victims’ name is not being released at this time.
Starr wouldn’t speculate if the man fell to his death at the construction site, saying only the cause of death remains under investigation but foul play is not suspected.
