South Bruce Peninsula is exploring the idea of implementing development charges.
Council members will attend a workshop from 1 PM to 4 PM today to examine the findings of a study on development charges.
CAO Malcolm McIntosh says the consultants will explain to council and the public the rationale for undertaking the study, the type of information they have found and the fee they have arrived at.
But McIntosh says they are only in the early stages of the process.
He says the public can attend the upcoming meeting — but it is not open for public comment yet.
McIntosh says council will present the fee they agree upon and then will open it up for public input at a later date before a by-law is voted on.
