A couple of planning decisions by Kincardine Council.
A recommendation has passed the Committee of the Whole level for the municipality to enter into an agreement with a developer for a new subdivision in Tiverton.
Beisel Contracting originally received draft approval for the subdivision in June 2008.
Approval of an agreement means the development is one step closer to happening.
Mayor Larry Kraemer says the project was already on the books, and some of the conditions of the site plan have been altered slightly.
He says nothing has been built yet, and the latest step in the process just has to do with the rules developers have to follow when they have plans for new developments.
Also, Council has passed at the Planning Advisory Committee level a zoning change that will allow for a new office in the strip plaza on Highway 21 at the north end of town.
A chiropodist — or foot specialist — wants to set up shop at the location.
