A name familiar to Huron-Bruce voters will be missing from the ballot if a federal election is held this fall.
Liberal Greg McClinchey says he needs to concentrate on spending time with his family and won’t run for the Grit nomination.
He’s also a member of North Huron Municipal Council.
McClinchey says a nomination meeting is coming up soon with details to be announced.
McClinchey lost to Conservative Ben Lobb in last fall’s federal vote.
McClinchey was looking to keep Huron-Bruce Liberal after the retirement of former MP Paul Steckle.
