World Peace Day is being celebrated in Kincardine again this year.
For the past few years, the day after 9/11 in Kincardine has been designated World Peace Day when speakers are invited to the town to talk of peace and understanding.
Spokesperson Kevin Larson says today, they have a meeting scheduled at the Kincardine Legion at 2 PM.
Larson says since misunderstandings lead to conflict they decided this year to hold a multi-faith meeting where several speakers of different faiths will tell their story.
He says there will Muslim, Hindu, First Nation, Jewish and Christian faiths represented.
The event is free to everyone.
