It’s harvest time and locally grown food is the focus of a festival at the Village at Blue Mountain this weekend.
Taste of Blue allows you to get a passport stamped as you visit 12 different village restaurant patios to sample everything from local corn of the cob, fruit sald, and items made with local ingredients like souvlaki, burgers and desserts.
Each sample runs from 2 to 5 dollars.
Blue Mountain Village Association Spokesperson Patti Kendall tells us the event runs from Noon to 5 PM on Saturday with a fashion show hosted by 97.7 the beach’s own Chris Carrigan at 3 PM.
The show features many of the village clothing stores.
The festival continues on Sunday from Noon to 4 PM.
There is also a tent sale through out the weekend.
