Hundreds of people are flocking to the main beach in Wasaga Beach today, but not just to catch some rays.
Many of them will be racing in the Triathlon to raise money for Collingwood’s hospital.
The hospital needs the money to pay off a new 1.1 million dollar x-ray machine which was installed when the old one broke down.
The fundraising goal is 75 thousand dollars and 65 thousand has already been raised.
The races start at 8:30 AM with 17 different competitions from the give it a try race to a half ironman.
Last year about 11 hundred people took part in the event and rasied over 50 thousand dollars for a 3D ultrasound machine.
