Owen Sound Chef and Restaurant owner Robin Prahdan will be cooking up a storm with some of the best chefs in Ontario this Sunday.
The owner of the Rocky Racoon Restaurant has been invited to this years 20th Feast of Fields event that will be taking place just outside of Toronto in Woodbridge.
Prahdan says its a great honour to be invited to this gourmet harvest festival which he describes as a lifetime opportunity.
More than 350 chefs, vintners, brewers, farmers, and food artisans from across the province will gather to create and enjoy locally produced and prepared food.
Prahdan says he and his staff have been preparing for this event for the past month, and will be producing a baked whitefish dish, on organic bread topped with local produced cheese.
He says its sort of like a whitefish cheese melt.
Pradham says he will also use this opportunity to promote all the good things that are happening in Grey Bruce surrounding the local food movement.
He will be distributing all sorts of information from his booth at the festival describing the two counties local food producers.
The Feast of Fields was established in 1989 by chefs Jamie Kennedy and Michael Stadtlander.
