Some good news today for Markdale residents.
The boil water advisory that has been in effect for a week, is now OVER.
Grey Highlands officials had put the advisory in effect last Friday, following the fire at Chapman’s Ice cream plant in Markdale.
The water system has been flushed and samples have tested clear.
Meanwhile — Grey Highlands is also closing the Markdale Arena and the Comfort centre at Noon Friday.
Council of Grey Highlands issued a thank you note to all residents for their patience following the water service disruption.
