Several new additions are about to open at Grey Roots Museum south of Owen Sound.
Spokesperson Petal Furness says the newest structure at their Moreston Heritage Village is a turn of the century bandstand.
The Scenic City Order of Good Cheer has raised the money and are, themselves, building it.
Furness says they’re hoping to have it completed in time for this year’s Celtic Festival, September 19th.
Two other buildings are scheduled to be complete this fall as well.
Furness says the blacksmith shop is getting a new porch while the school house is getting the finishing touches on the inside.
A fundraising golf tournament will be held September 9th to help raise some much needed funds to complete the school house.
