Finally Summer is Here!
Thousands of people are enjoying the sunny weather in our region for the last holiday weekend of the summer.
Bayshore Broadcasting Weather Specialist John Wilson tells us the first two weeks in September will actually be sunny and warm.
In fact — Wilson says August was pretty good according to the weather stats.
Wilson says the temperatures were very close to normal with better than normal amounts of sunshine.
He adds the amount of precipitation in August was below average.
Wilson adds the last two weeks of September will not be as nice with higher than average amounts of precipitation but it will stay relatively warm for the time of year.
