Grey County OPP is looking for a dog that bit a man in downtown Meaford.
Police say a 68 year old man was standing with his cane next to his truck near Sykes and Trowbridge Streets around 1:30 PM Wednesday when a dog bit him in the hand.
The man was stunned as Police say there was no prior confrontation, no barking or other aggressive behaviour.
The victim needed stitches.
The black and short haired dog — possibly a retriever crossed with a Rottweiller — stood there for a minute then left in the direction of Sykes Street.
Anyone who may know of the dog is asked to call Grey County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
