High school teacher Andrea Matrosovs has been acclaimed as the Liberal candidate.
She reports membership in the party doubled since Michael Ignatieff became the leader, and fundraising has increased by four times.
Matrosovs will attend election readiness and candidate training in Ottawa in the next two weeks, prior to the House of Commons resuming September 14th.
