The Vision Christian Bookstore in Port Elgin will close its doors for good.
Co-owner Paula Hetherington says Saturday is the last day the store will be open.
Hetherington says they’ve had the store up for sale for a while – but no one has taken over ownership – so they have decided to close it.
She says the store has been in Port Elgin for six years – the last three of which were in a Goderich Street location.
Hetherington says her daughter ran the store for the last year, but is moving away and her husband is already retired, so the timing is right.
The couple will keep their Wiarton location open; where they live.
The Hetherington’s have operated that location for thirteen years.
