Food is one thing there is too much of in Durham.
In fact officials in West Grey have had so much food dropped off at the Legion that a news release was sent out to say they don’t need anymore.
Officials say the generosity of the community has been overwhelming as more than enough food has been donated to feed clean up volunteers and workers.
But West Grey Council still wants residents to fill out a Property Damage Report Form to help officials evaluate the extent of the tornado damage.
So far the list includes 55 homes, farms and businesses with extensive damage from last Thursday’s tornado.
Some of those buildings will be torn down.
