Whatever is going to happen to the emergency room service at Saugeen Memorial Hospital in Southampton will be made public tomorrow.
A news conference has been called for 9:30 AM at the hospital for the announcement, to be made by Huron Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell.
Rumours have swirling around the community all summer about the possiblity of the hospital losing its overnight ER service after the Labour Day weekend.
President and CEO of the Grey Bruce Health Services Maureen Solecki denied the service would be cut back and that many people were working behind the scenes to solve the problem.
Just this week new rumours circulated saying the problem has been solved and the Southampton facility would be operating as normal in the ER department.
