Residents in Tara can find out how much a new water tower will cost them.
Arran Elderslie is holding a public meeting tonight about the construction of a new Tara water tower.
It begins at 7 o’clock at the Tara Community Centre.
The 98 foot tall tower will be made of glass fused to steel sections and will be 42 feet in diameter.
It’s expected the project will cost over 1.6 million dollars.
A grant will cover two thirds of the cost — but the remaining third will come from Tara water users.
Residents can learn tonight how much money will be expected of each user and what kind of payment options are available.
