A 50 year old Chatsworth Township man is in the Owen Sound hospital, recovering from serious injuries he received when he was hit by a boat, while swimming in Williams Lake.
It happened about Noon Sunday on the small lake south of Owen Sound near Holland centre.
Grey county OPP say a boat driven by a Brantford man, was towing 2 young children on an inflatable toy and there was an adult lookout aboard.
The victim was swimming nearby and was struck by the small boat as it passed.
He was pulled from the water, given first aid and Grey county EMS were called to the scene.
OPP say the man was then rushed to Owen Sound hospital.
His name has not been released, and the investigation of the collision continues.
