If you owe the County of Bruce money, you’ll soon be able to pay online.
The Corporate Services Committee has approved a plan to enter into an agreement with PayPal to allow residents to pay fees for various services through the county website.
Clerk Bettyanne Cobean says it’s been used by many other municipalities and public organizations.
She says they’ve discovered through the county website and its various satellite offices that there is a demand by residents who want to do transactions online.
Cobean says it’s a secured site and comes recommended by the Deputy Treasurer and Information Technology Manager.
