A Wiarton area beach has been posted unsafe for swimming.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit posted Bluewater Park Beach in the town of South Bruce Peninsula as unsafe for swimmers.
Manager of Health Protection Lou DAlessandro says beach water sampling at Bluewater Park shows two consecutive samples exceeding Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards for acceptable bacterial levels.
As a result, this area will be posted and remain posted, until two consecutive samples indicate that water is safe for bathing.
Advisory signs have been posted.
