Country fans are gearing up for a great show in Lucknow this weekend.
Music in the Fields takes place today and promises a great line-up of country artists for all to enjoy.
Co-Chair Ken Irwin says it’s going to the best summer country music festival in Southwestern Ontario this year.
He says the site opens at 11 AM and the River Junction Band takes the stage at 1:15 PM followed by a slew of performers until about midnight.
Irwin says they’re expecting a huge turn-out — about four to five thousand people from all over the province.
He says people from out of the area can also use campgrounds in the area, but they come on a first-come, first-serve basis.
