It may be 11:30 PM Friday before electricity is restored to every single resident in Bruce and Grey Counties.
Ron Matthews is the Hydro One Operations Manager in Walkerton.
Matthews says they have 37 hydro workers working within a 10 mile radius of Durham.
He says they also have helicopters in the air to survey the damage in remote areas around the Durham, Markdale and Thornbury regions.
Matthews says they hope to have electricity back to the bulk of Durham and surrounding area by 11:30 PM.
But Matthews says there will be some power drop offs Friday afternoon as they try to restore circuits.
As of 11:30 AM — there are still about 400 homes and businesses in southern Grey Bruce without electricity.
There are also about 300 homes in northern Grey Bruce and another 600 locations in the Collingwood area without power.
At the height of the storm — about 12 thousand homes from Bruce County, Grey County and the Collingwood area were without electricity.
