A 16 year old Walkerton boy is dead after a car crash.
It happened just before 8 PM last night on the Huron Bruce Road west of Highway 9.
Huron OPP say Tyler Dietz was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by a 15 year old girl.
They say she lost control, left the road and struck a tree.
Dietz was taken to Walkerton Hospital and later pronounced dead.
The female driver had to be extricated by fire crews and suffers serious but non-life threatening injuries in a London hospital.
A 17 year old Mildmay youth was also a passenger in the vehicle and was treated for non life threatening injuries at Hanover Hospital.
A section of the road was blocked off for several hours last night so OPP Technical Collision Investigators could gather evidence to piece the collision back together.
Charges are pending.
