Grey County OPP have learned just how effect their ‘stealth’ vehicles are.
An officer was travelling in the all-black silhouette cruiser along Grey Road 9 in Southgate over the weekend when another vehicle sped past him.
The officer, now with his radar locked and loaded, continued to follow the car as it sped past another vehicle.
The cruiser eventually caught up and pulled over the driver who was clocked doing more than 140 kilometres an hour in an 80-K zone.
A 17 year old Guelph girl was charged under the province’s new ‘stunt driving’ legislation and had her licence suspended and vehicle taken away for seven days.
