The newly expanded Grey Highlands municipal office is winning praise from the Mayor.
Brian Mullin says the additional 15 hundred square feet allows for a better flow and senior staff now have offices where they can deal with confidential information.
Before the construction was completed a few weeks ago, there was no mayors’ office, and Mullin had to meet with people in the council chambers, hallways or wherever an open office was available.
The clerk also did not have her own office for the last eight years.
The expansion project was worth about 64 thousand dollars and also included an office for the Fire chief, and more support staff stations.
The newly expanded Grey Highlands municipal office now has eight thousand square feet of space.
