The Owen Sound Stingers Boys under 12 soccer team had a perfect 3-0-0 record in Saturdays round robin play at the Festival Cup but failed to advance to Sundays final after losing in the semi-final 5-0 to the Lambeth Lancers.
Saturdays scores were:
Owen Sound 5 – Rockwood 1 . Jake Berner had the hat trick with Jesse Ott and Joel Delleman adding singles
Owen Sound 6 – Petrolia 3 Simon Petersen had 3 goals , Klass Antuma , Jesse Ott and Joel Delleman had 1 goal each
Owen Sound 6- Bluewater Blaze 0- Spencer Patchell had the shutout for the Stingers . Joel Delleman and Jake Berner each had a pair of goals with Ryan Baerg and Nick Foster netting one goal each.
