The 34th annual Summerfolk is underway.
Thousands opened the annual music, arts and crafts festival at Kelso Beach Park in Owen Sound last night.
This year’s Festival features over 50 performers at four different stages — and the musical talent ranges from traditional folk to Latin to Country music.
There are also over 40 artisans this year.
There is also a wide variety of different types of food available — ranging from locally produced food to ethnic dishes.
It’s expected close to 20 thousand people will attend the three day festival which ends at 11 PM Sunday.
Some of the visitors to Summerfolk this year have come from across Canada and even the United States.
