A small portion of the new roundabout in the Blue Mountains will open today.
The opening will accommodate one lane of traffic for vehicles travelling on Grey Road 19.
Motorists will notice a traffic signal to control the flow of traffic.
The remaining portion of the 1.5 million dollar roundabout will be blocked to traffic on Grey Road 1-19 and Mountain Drive.
Officials with the Grey County Transportation department hope to open the full roundabout on August 24th.
During a 24 hour period — Grey Road 19 typically sees about 17-thousand vehicles.
