If you’ve been grumbling about lousy cool wet summer weather, you have good reason.
Our weather specialist John Wilson says July was fully three degrees cooler than is normal, with 17 days of rain.
Wilson reports it’s the second coolest summer on record — the coolest being the summer of 1992.
As for August, Wilson says not to get too excited about hot weather based on the sunshine and warmth this past weekend.
He says so far, the patterns look pretty much the same as we saw in July.
Wilson says you can expect temperatures two degrees lower than normal during the day.
