Plans continue in South Bruce for the removal of the Mildmay Co-Op Dam.
Operations Manager Sharon Chambers says they’re working with the Ministry of Natural Resources to come up with a new design for the waterway that is acceptable to them.
She says some changes were necessary for the plans because the ministry had some issues with fish habitat.
Chambers says an engineer has revamped the design and the municipality is awaiting approval.
She says they plan to take out the dam, reduce the size of the mill pond, and have two stream channels take its place.
