Some motorists are being stopped along Highway 26 just west of Collingwood.
They are being stopped by officials from the Ministry of Transportation.
The MTO is conducting a survey as part of the long term planning for roads across Ontario.
Drivers that are stopped are being asked questions about where they’re going and where they live.
But the MTO says the surveys will continue through the entire month of August along Highway 26 in the Collingwood area.
