The Fire Department is investigating after three workers at the Collingwood landfill fell ill after handling an unknown chemical.
There are reports the three were suffering from shortness of breath after opening an unmarked container Saturday afternoon.
The three were treated for symptoms at hospital and will be fine.
Hazardous material teams were brought in and the chemical is being examined to determine what it is.
