Owen Sound’s Harbour will soon be awash of the work of artists from Bruce and Grey counties.
A new project — started by resident Ted Renner who has moved to the community from Fernie, British Columbia — will boast 40 banners with photos of local artists work for the next two years.
The artists have to compete for one of the 40 spots open by submitting a photo of their chosen work.
The jpeg format photo is then e-mailed to bannerproject@me.com
Three judges will choose the best of the best and one of the judges, Aly Boltman, says the deadline to submit entries is Friday, July 31st.
Boltman says the judges will do their work in early August.
She says the vinyl banners with the artist’s work on them will be displayed throughout the seasons for two-years.
