A scary scene on Albert Street in Southampton.
Just before 5 PM last night – a car burst into flames on Albert Street between Palmerston and High Streets
According to witnesses — a car with five or six passengers was passing through town and a passing truck driver shouted to them that their vehicle was leaking gas and a trail of it was running from the back of the car.
The vehicle pulled over, the passengers got out, and it instantly burst into flames.
Another caller to the Bayshore Broadcasting News Centre reports seeing black smoke billowing from the vehicle.
All of the passengers got out of the car safely, and it doesn’t appear anyone was hurt.
